Bala Town's Gruff Harrison has been appointed as the new manager of Tîm Rhanbarthol Cymru ahead of the 2026/27 UEFA Regions' Cup intermediate round. He replaces Andy Hill, who stepped down from the role due to increased commitments at Trefelin. Harrison brings a wealth of experience to the position, having managed hometown club Ammanford for 12 years and transforming them from a fourth-tier outfit into an established second-tier side. He also managed Ardal South West side Ynysygerwn in October 2025, guiding the club from the relegation zone to a fifth-place finish last season. The 36-year-old is now tasked with leading Tîm Rhanbarthol Cymru to success in the UEFA Regions' Cup intermediate round, which will see them travel to Bosnia-Herzegovina in September to face fellow Regional Amateur Teams (RATs) from Bosnia-Herzegovina, North Macedonia, and Armenia. Harrison is quoted as saying, 'I feel honoured to be selected to manage Tîm Rhanbarthol Cymru for the upcoming UEFA Regions' Cup games in Bosnia.
